OUR POLICIES:

PREGNANCY

Unfortunately we currently do not offer pregnancy massage. Although this service does not differ too greatly from our other treatments, we strongly believe that if you are seeking a pregnancy massage, it is important to seek advice from a therapist who is qualified specifically in pregnancy massage. As a woman’s body undergoes such unique changes during this time, being treated by a therapist with extensive experience in cases similar to yours is invaluable. If you are struggling to find the right therapist, we encourage you to get in contact with Alexia, as she may be able to recommend a therapist close to you.

CANCELLATION

We ask that all clients give a minimum of 9 hours notice for all cancellations or changes. Cancellations made with less notice may attract a fee of 50% of each service booked.

If the therapist needs to cancel your appointment because you are unavailable at the time of your scheduled massage, a fee of 100% of each service booked may be charged.

HEALTH FUND

Unfortunately we do not offer any health fund rebates.

PAYMENT

Alexia accepts both card and cash payment. Payment will be taken at the time of the massage.

GIFT CARDS

Please contact Alexia directly to purchase a gift card. The purchase of a gift card does not require an appointment to be booked immediately, however one must be scheduled before its expiry date in order to be valid.

DISCLAIMER

By booking an appointment you are acknowledging that you are able to safely receive a massage. If deemed otherwise by the therapist you will only be charged 50% of the service fee.

Please note that it is your responsibility to make sure you can safely receive a massage, prior to booking.

Massage Therapists are not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose or prescribe major illnesses or medication.

Our services may not be the solution to recurring problems, as these may require proper diagnoses and treatment from a medical professional. Massage should never be used as a substitute for medical or mental examination, diagnosis or treatment.
